CARING FOR YOUR CUTTING BOARD
3 Tablespoons Kosher Salt
Mineral Oil/Beeswax mixture (heat on stovetop on low heat 1 cup mineral oil and 1/3 cup Beeswax)
Sprinkle salt all over the wood cutting board.
Take lemon and roll onto cutting board to soften.
Cut lemon in half. Use lemon cut side down and rub all over the salted board, use both halves.
Let board rest for 5 minutes and then quickly rinse with water. Dry off with towel and stand on end for
Rub Mineral Oil/Bees Wax mixture all over the cutting board, wipe cutting board with a cloth to remove any excess oils.
Repeat once a month - with this care they will last many years.
These cutting boards are not dishwasher safe - NEVER put your cutting boards in the dishwasher.
